Model Quality Work for Gemini
Partnering with UX, creative and engineering teams, I have been supporting efforts at Google DeepMind to train Gemini, Google’s LLM. Our goal is to improve the user experience by teaching the model to answer queries and prompts accurately, safely, and impartially in a way that sounds more human.
While I’m not a “techie,” I am a writer who’s supported many tech companies, specifically marketing, UX and product teams. A writer’s conversational skills and intuitive sense for what sounds “right” in any context is in demand for much of Big Tech, especially as AI efforts ramp up.
At Google specifically, I helped to launch Gemini 3, Gemini Live and Gemini in Chrome. Due to NDAs, I can’t get more granular . . . but I can say I appreciate Google’s strict and mindful guardrails where AI is concerned, as well as their mission to make Gemini helpful for humans, not superior to humans.
